Dresden University of Technology was founded in 1828 and is today Saxony?s largest university with more than 32,000 enrolled students, among them approximately 2,800 foreign students. Due to the restructuring process after 1990, the TU Dresden offers now a wide range of subjects, not only courses in engineering and natural sciences but also in humanities, social sciences and medicine.
